Welcome to the web site of the Royal British Legion – Rheindahlen Branch based in Mönchengladbach Germany. The Royal British Legion is the prime ex-Service organisation and one of Britain's best known and highly respected charities. Its principal concern is the welfare of ex-Service personnel and their dependants, offering financial, social and emotional support to 15 million people. The Rheindahlen Branch's primary aim is to look after the welfare needs of British ex-Service personnel and their dependants in our area of responsibility which because we are the most southerly Branch in Germany stretches down to the Austrian and Swiss borders.

The Rheindahlen Branch meets socially every Friday at 1600 hrs and on Sunday at 1300 hrs in The Lion's Head, at 10 Reading Way JHQ which is behind the Rheindahlen Bowl. We also have Bingo on Wednesdays at 1900 hrs and Sundays at 18.30 hrs. There is a good bar and comfortable surroundings prospective British Legion members and their families are most welcome to pay us a visit. The Lion's Head is also available for private functions please contact the Branch Secretary (details below).

UPDATE:

Due to security reasons it has been decided to remove the Guestbook! A forum has been put in its place which will require all users to register before they are able to post. Apologies for this inconvenience but it is for the better as far as the site goes and it is actually more fun once you get used to how it works.
