Joining the Royal British Legion. Why you should join? Your support is vital to the care of the ex-Service community. Enjoy the comradeship of others who have served in the British Armed Forces. The Rheindahlen Branch premises ‘The Lion's Head' is a social centre where you and your family can meet for companionship and relaxation. The Legion can help serving or ex-members of the British Armed Forces, or their dependants, with war pensions or compensation claims, resettlement and training. Who can join? Anyone who has served or is serving in the British Armed Forces (including the Volunteer Reserves), is 18 years or older and has received seven day's pay can apply for membership. If you have never served, but support the Legion's aims, you can also apply for membership. If you are between 14 and 18 years old and are interested in the Armed Services and the work of The Royal British Legion, you can join us as a Youth Member. The annual subscription fee for the Rheindahlen Branch is €30 or £21. Please make all cheques payable to ‘The Royal British Legion'. If you have a UK Bank or Building Society account you can complete the UK Bank Direct Debit form below. This method of payment has the following advantages: your membership card will be sent to your home address and your membership will not lapse through oversight; payment to the Branch is prompt and we do not need to collect your subscription and send your new membership card to you each year. If you wish to pay your subscription through a German Bank please use the German Bank Direct Debit form below.
